In order to facilitate the presence of young scientists at the 33rd International Symposium on Chromatography (ISC 2020), the Hungarian Society for Separation Sciences will provide grants to PhD students. Grants will be presented to PhD students who will present either an oral or poster contribution at the ISC 2020 Symposium in Budapest, Hungary. The grant consists of complimentary registration and free participation at the social programs. Travel allowance and accommodation will not be provided.
PhD students under the age of 35 at the time of the application deadline are eligible. PhD students from all over the world may apply; applications from Central and Eastern Europe are encouraged.
Please note that a separate grant is available for the members of the Hungarian Society for Separation Sciences, who should not apply for this Student Grant.
- a letter requesting consideration for the grant,
- a resume with list of publications,
- a letter of recommendation from your advisor,
- a copy of your abstract,
- evidence of eligibility (student ID).
Deadline to apply is June 1, 2020.
The winners will be selected by the Board of the Hungarian Society for Separation Sciences and notified by June 15, 2020. The winners will be asked to write a brief one-page meeting report, which will be displayed on the web site of the Symposium and that of the Hungarian Society for Separation Sciences.
